Dog tracking in crime detection:

(Querist) 17 September 2008 This query is : Resolved
Police often use Dog to track culprits, is such evidence admissible?
Guest (Expert) 17 September 2008
It only helpps the police collect evidence based on the Dog's action, the dog will only lead the police to the evidence if avaialable. It is for police to collect further documentary or oral evidence.
G. ARAVINTHAN (Expert) 18 September 2008
That is only a presumption in any case. But if some other evidence whether direct or indirect gives way to the same presumption, then it can be treated as a valid evidence
