NGT eastern zone bench passed an order on 19.5.2015 in Original Application No. 321/2013/PB/34/EZ.
"The PCB is directed to issue fresh order strictly in terms of para 35 of the order of the Principal Bench within one
month positively relating to amending of order dt. 3.101997 passed earlier by them."
30 days have crossed but PCB has not passed any order. if contempt is filed and contempt is established what effect it will have on the PCB?Is there any law or rule by which PCB can escape contempt.
The order is attached
have come to know from the news paper that PCB will be going to Supreme court.

law is if higher court passes an order with stipulation of time, within that lower authority need to act that is a type of mandamus
if the lower authority fails its control on the matter is lost.
why there is need of contempt.
