Whether I.O. / police is bound to give information to Complainant if they decide to forward F.R. to the court.

Police is not bound to inform, but Court is bound to summon informant, giving him opportunity of hearing, before accepting the final report.

Bounden duty of the police is to investigate by inquiring the complaint by calling complainant and accused to the police station. Police need not inform the complainant about submission of FIR to the court.

Police is not bound to inform you but court will call/summon the informant. If informant feels that police has not investigated properly, informant can file a protest petition.
