I booked, 2-3 years ago, a commercial shop in one of the upcoming malls in Gurgaon developed by a known builder.
I have made 100% of the payment. The mall is now ready but the size of my shop is about 5% smaller. I have been asking the builder to refund the excess amount but there is no response from the builder on my emails and registered letters.
* What can/should I do?
* Can I file a case in consumer court for refund of my money? The cost of the shop is about 30L and refund is about 1.5L

One of my neighbour filed a false case against me and the police officer asked me to take bail from court. i took bail from the magistrate court and subsequently they charged the case. now i have received summons from magistate court to be present there on next week.
whether i have to take bail again from the court. or the anticipatery bail will continue
kindly clarify the possition

Dear sir/Madam,
by taking the corner of my wife .family member of my wife are destroying my family.
can i file case for the jewellery ,money what they have of mine and refused officially through reply of notice.
i have proof that they have my money and jewellery of my wife .
can i file a case for the same?
kingly suggest me under what section i can file a case.
Iwould like to appoint a lawyer for the same but atleast i want to know the possibility of such case.

Consumer vs. civil court
Isn't it that the case that can be filed in consumer court can also be filed in civil court?
I guess the answer is yes. Then what are the (dis-)advantages of one over the other in terms of following:-
cost of the case
simplicity of procedure
which one is faster?
Should people approach consumer court wherever possible?
