Need your suggestions please help_sra redevelopment

Dear Sir / Madam,


I am residence of Dhobhighat, Santacruz East, Mumbai-400055.

Here in our area Naik naware Builders is having planning to develop SRA building.

We have shop of Jewellery which we purchased in July 2004. it was not shop before July 2004 from whom we buy he was residing there.

We have all license , Gumasta license, Commercial light bill etc from July 2004. Every year we renewal Gumasta License till date.

Builder office person are saying that are not going to give us Shop as establishment of shop year is July 2004. if it was till year 2000 then they can give us shop otherwise they agree to give Flats not shop..

What is solutions to resolve this issue. How I can get shop once building is developed as this is my business... I am going to be in huge loss if I get Flat instead of Shop.

Did u ask them under what rule or regulation they are taking the above stand. Please check the survey report given by the builder /staff of SRA before sanctioning the re development of the site. If it is reported that the place is residential then u will have to file objection/appeal before the SRA for correction in the report. Once the report is corrected from residence to commercial, then u will be entitled to shop.Do'nt delay. Delay may defeat ur case.
