(Querist) 14 April 2014 This query is : Resolved
One agriculture land purchased by name of public trustin the year of 2006. 90 a conversion for institutional use is not applied till today, only possession and wire boundary has been completed. Is there any time limit for conversion ? 90 A application please confirm ,if yes, what is the period.
ROHIT SHARMA (Expert) 14 April 2014
1. The registration of such Public Trust would not be permitted or granted by the Charity Commissioner unless the District Collector has approved and has permitted such sale of agricultural land to a Public Trust.

2. The limitation is of course there and an application u/s 90-A for conversion should have been made within three months from the date of such sale deed of the land.

2. The true owner can regain his land.
