Fully agree with the views of the writer. With dwindling interest income & increasing inflation, it is difficult to make ends meet. And this enormous increase in the premium amount makes us seniors gasp and helpless. It is time the government support the senior citizens who through the years have toiled and diligently contributed to the coffers of the government by paying taxes and reduce the premiums to the original levels.

Similar situation is prevailing for mediclaim policy for Retired bankers with option of domiciliary treatment. No one has thought of / can protest in effective manner.
