problem is very statutes that eclipse sane judges to view things on known customs - education is to draw knowledge from experiential learning over several centuries how the said time treated men's perceptions on validity contract of living together - see Avvaiyar a tamil poetess how she honors her father and mother to continue their married life till their end ; if that was not that long to be, she would have favored mother or father breaking away from the contract of living together - so we need to respect yore (knowledge of the centuries) not be guided by some selfish reasons, if husband or wife is seriously sick say like cancer would u like them to divorce think a while, that is a question to sane judges, if not to sane spouses.

it is like high selfishness which in the man is like a devilish black hole, like in sun the core flames become so dark that no telescope can locate in such hole but if a man he seems to have in him some devil in him is obvious - reason when u marry a woman or girl why do u take saptapadi and then flout?

I think leading case Samar Ghosh Vs. Jaya Ghosh Appeal (Civil) 151 of 2014 can be referred in this reference whereby Hon'ble Supreme Court of India observed 14 set of circumstances for divorce.

I think top leading case setting grounds for divorce is SAMAR GHOSH Vs. JAYA GHOSH Appeal (Civil) of 151 of 2004 whereby Hon'ble Supreme Court of India set guidelines for divorce.
