Time is changing fast and india also changing so you need to carefully examine all statutes that need your consent besides ordinances that are brought before you is vital to be critically analysed if not we cannot waste on a man or a woman who cannot really take on head on all the politicians, forget about impeaching you - politicians to be one by one need to be impeached as they involve in all kinds of activities that could be with impunity, so indeed indictable if not impeached by these worthies - see some fellows call Army is not performing - calling it by all kinds of names - but for it you will have no India please remember my dear friends.

In fact i wanted the president has to follow 'purposive' interpretation with the help of panel wise constitution experts - else president role is just useless one need to know - you can never be rubber stamp - see when agriculturists protests all over india rising what Pranab could do as president? Nothing , what use sir that kind of situations see TN govt failing after JJ's death, today TN is abysmal , what he contributed as the president - he was a minister of so many decades whether his experience really did anything meaningful, then demonetization by Modi is an absolutely a useless act as RBI governor says ' demonetization never helped' so what kind of man need to man as President - we have to think as we cannot abdicate to PM and his few cabinet ministers or the parliamentarians, so we need active man to supervise the parliamentarians as also legislators in all our states, else what for you need this office - just rubber stamp?

Talking about President and Governors of a state Reminds me of : “When I use a word’ Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, “it means just what I choose it to mean, neither more or less’. ‘The question is’ said Alice. “Whether you can make, words mean so many different things’. ‘The question is’, Humpty Dumpty said, ‘which is the Master-that is all’.

In England after Act of settlement on 17th century , parliament is accountable to people , besides charless II rightly gave to people power to question any .

every one questions on impartiality as impartial is like what Mark Twain l said 'difference is like between lighting and lighting bug' is the difference between partial and impartial.

to be impartial is a very difficult job for president - as he is forced by politicians to do this and that so he has to be independent with the right panel of advisors he need to appoint on his own.

A very orudent and thought provoking article on the selection of a pragmatic, bold and independent (of politicians) article. Undoubtedly, meed of the hour under the present circumstances when politicians are blind, deaf and dumb, except follow either their lersonal greed for power or money or follow the goal of their partican politics, which in fact is neither in the interest of human development but destruction of national ideology of a free democratic India, but pure foolishness and self destructive and non progressive. Its time we select the right President to hold the true secular values of the constitution of India.

VERY URGENT appeal to EC,SC,PM&President,&fellow-voters/citizens: Push immediately for the Unique, all-IndhiA-representative Electoral College, that will elect New President,to be innovatively and economically used for the BhArath-democracy to react to SC's controversial affront to our democracy, on NJAC, by rejecting the advice of Combined PArliament & 15 State Legislatures. It is for the concerned voters/citizens, mAsters of SC, Executive and the destiny of the Nation, to call the AUM-bluff of SC, AUM standing here for All-Mighty, Unquestionable and Mightier-than-Combined PArliament&15-State Legislatures, not our praNav manthr!

sir, In England after 1215 when King John signed Magna carta from then on all Monarchs of England ought to be figure heads only but from Tudors and Stuverts asserted their power to regain power that didn't work but here when constitution provides independent power center in the president of India Parliament tried to misuse its power extra constitutionally it never cared Art 368 prescriptions why even today see how Adhar is compulsory for income tax , that means the parliament still mangles Art 368 but what i see is even judiciary today just misuses its judicial restraint mechanism the other day when it allowed Aadhar can be added to Pan but some relief only to people who don't have Aadhar so far - means court also forgot the power of Art 368 - obviously indian elite don't understand the cery constition correctly, so you definitely need one who is independent but need be versatile in the constitution parameters or supported by very learned panel of constitutional experts as advisors to the president , that way indian independence can be saved , if not soon some chatrapathis or some chieftains might emerge by taking advantage of ignorance of people, obviously it is very difficult for very common msn to understand what is Art 21 or any fundamental rights, we need to strike down by judiciary all constitutional amendments centered on fundamental rights is my view, tks
