Who is Hindu? Declaration by a non Hindu is sufficient to be treated as a Hindu

This is a case of Kerala High Court.

Mohandas Vs. Dewaswom board.

Mr. Jesudas the famous playback singer, born and brought up as a Christian. On the basis of his declaration that - he is follower of Hinduism – The High Court of Kerala decided that he is a Hindu, and allowed to entire into a Hindu temple.

A question came several times  that if a non Hindu person married a Hindu, under Hindu rituals or Arjya Samaj Mandir, The person now be treated as Hindu. If necessary, he may declare himself as a Hindu. His marriage will be treated as a Hindu marriage.
