Rashmika Motanna, why are you focusing on the title or for that matter the flowery languages employed in the Article. This is the burden that we all carry in this Country; I mean we judge things with the eyes of our political affiliation and not the value of the actions. Do you want to say that the blood that has been shed in these region is just a collateral damages? The loss of lives and the bleedings of the hearts of millions of widows and Mothers, Fathers, the orphans etc;in those regions are far more than the price of land of Jammu and Kashmir, which you have to ponder over rather than looking with political microscopic color. The people of this region deserve peace, progress and development and certainly I am of the view that the Union of India has done the right things by doing away with the two Articles, after all we cannot say that continuing with temporary measures for more than 70 years is prudent and sensible things to do on the parts of India. This is not the time to be pointing fingers at one another but a time for cooperation and unity, as the Union of India has embark upon an unfinished task that has been left for more than 70 years. Remember everything has its own time and there are times when truth itself is hard to handle, but our Government has made it and will achieved it.

Those Akshi Chin, Shakshgam Valley gifted to china by Pakistan and Pakistan illegally occupation of J & K right from Gilgit Baltistan, clearly belongs to India. Question is how India should retrieve those land? Now, UNSC must direct China and Pakistan to vacate those lands that belongs to India, a step which I don't see happening legally in that manner. I don't see India as a super power by scrapping outdated Articles 370 and 35A, as the real burning issues are those surrounding lands occupied by Pakistan and China, which India has to address Consciously.

I may add that Pakistan illegally occupied part of state of jammu & kashmir by using force and permitted China to construct a highway through a part of it illegally , thinking that India will not dare to fight China and thereby they will keep POK to them perpetually. This also underscores the inability of UNO to resolve this issue and force both Pakistan and China to vacate the territory they are illegally occuping . . INDIA must move INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE to enforce it's claim on entire state of J&K .

Sanjeev Sirohi, it was a pleasure to go through your thought provoking Article on Kashmir.Perhaps this Article in the Indian Constitution read with unseen Article 35A which exist in Spirit through Presidential Order, but the problem is that we cannot grasp the real nature and extent of the two Articles unless we know the history, political, social and economic background of the Region including and including Religion and the dream of Caliphate. The said Article 370 commence with "Temporary Provisions................................................" Question is "Temporary provisions..." for what? Jammu and Kshmir Constitution. Many are debating focusing on 370 and 35A, which is only the beginning and not the whole that lies behind the two Articles. Thank you so much for your valuable article.
