Todd Hoffman has a net worth of $10 million as of 2024. He earns a $150,000 salary per episode on Gold Rush. He is however not as rich as Parker Schnabel.

Net Worth before Gold Rush

Todd Hoffman used to own an aviation company in Oregon, but after the company failed, he changed course.

Encouraged by his father, a gold prospector from the 1970s, Hoffman moved to Porcupine Creek, Alaska, with eight friends who were unemployed.

Unfortunately, this business failed, and it became increasingly challenging to locate new investors willing to cover the costs of mining equipment and other expenses.

Nevertheless, Hoffman’s persistence prevailed. In 2009, he formed a partnership with fellow miners and initiated gold mining activities in Alaska’s Klondike region.

This undertaking proved highly successful, as the group uncovered a substantial amount of gold, generating over $1.4 million in their inaugural season.

Salary

Hoffman starred in the first eight seasons of the Discovery Channel reality series “Gold Rush.” Hoffman was paid $50,000 per episode for the first three seasons.

He renegotiated his salary for the later seasons and was paid $150,000 per episode. This is equal to what miners like Tony Beets make.

House Properties

Hoffman has amassed a real estate portfolio worth $9 million, according to a recent report by Forbes magazine. So it is obvious why does he has so much net worth.

His properties are located throughout Alaska, including in Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Wasilla.

Hoffman’s most valuable property is a 10,000-square-foot mansion in Anchorage, which is valued at $3 million.

The mansion has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a home theater, and a swimming pool. He also owns a number of other valuable properties in Alaska, including:

  • A 5,000-square-foot cabin in Fairbanks, valued at $2 million
  • A 2,000-square-foot home in Wasilla, valued at $1 million
  • A commercial building in Anchorage, valued at $1 million
  • A 100-acre parcel of land in the Klondike region, valued at $2 million
