PRESENT STATUS AS ADVISED BY THE MINISTRY

  1. The Land Acquisition Act, 1894 has been repealed by Section 114 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement (RFCTARR) Act, 2013.
  2. The Registration Amendment Bill, 2013 is to amend the Registration Act, 1908, and is pending before the Rajya Sabha.

CONCLUSION

Except for matters related to Land Acquisition Act other proposals under Registration Act is “PENDING” for more than a century.
