Expulsion from membership of a co-operative housing society thereafter disconnection of electricity

Cooperation Department, Government of West Bengal, affirmed my expulsion from membership of Cooperative Housing Society, with directions to the Society to take legal steps for recovery of dues.

However the Cooperative Housing Society terminated electricity to the ill fated flat since 12.02.2023.

Electricity is supplied to the Housing Cooperative by Distribution Licencee, thereafter distributed via sub meter to individual flats.

Ran from pillar to post but no remedy, even to Hon'ble Kolkata High Court.

Is the Managing Commitee empowered to disconnect electricity & water, both basic amenities?

Is your matter is under sub judice or decided before the Calcutta High Court? Aside, the State is bound to provide basic amenities if not free but at a reasonable amount to its capacity, but you cannot bound down any private party to continue with the supply on over dues if it supply the besic amenities by purchasing from the third party.
