Does wife is entitled for husband's mother property

If husband has taken house building loan as co-borrower with his mother against land completely owned by his mother, then can his wife claim that house as her husband property?

Hello,

Wife will not have any rights on the property of husband during his life. In your case property is in the name of mother so there is no question of wife's claim over property.

No, wife has no right to claim ownership rights over the property of her husband's mother during her husband's lifetime on basis of that her husband has taken housing loan on  property.

Yes.  Agreed with the advice of the above learned experts.

As a co-borrower with mother the husband can not be termed as titleholder (owner) of the property therefore, wife has no right, claim or interest in the house owned by her mother-in-law.

Agree with the expert's opinion. By joining in the borrowing for the construction of the house, the husband does not get any right, title, or interest in the property. As such the wife does not get any rights over the property either during the lifetime or after the death of the husband.
