Alimony

I have asked this question several times and yet another time i want to be more specific on this........."If court orders ex-parte against me and if my wife gets remarried after 6 months of court decision does she qualify for alimony for the duration she spent before another marriage ? "

1. No. Alimony sustains till she is un-married and or till any change of situation.
Well, such ideal situations are rare when wife in India and she has a NRI's husbands :-)
However no harm wishing you still all the best !

Yes i am NRI and my wife is going to get married again......@ Mamta can u tell me on what basis she qualifies for maintenance after second marriage ? ....ex-party can be ruled out against me but there should be  a way to contest ex-party order especially if she is married to someone else !
