Leave encashment vs leave accumulation

Hi All,

As per the various Shops and Establishment Acts within the country (India), there are different clauses under Leave for accumulation versus encashment.

Is there an interpretation of the same? Also is there a mandate when it comes to encashing the said leaves.

For example: as per the AP Shops and establishment, one needs to mandatorily encash 8 days of leave, however as per Mumbai Shops and Establishment one can accumulate upto 42 days. If we want to set up a process for Leave encashment. What is the best approach or philosophy to follow.

Thanks

Regards,

Sunaina

I also want to add the question if the worker doesn't what to encash then what is the further process as per the Bombya Shop & Establishment Act.

Leave Encashment is better than Leave Accumulation. At the time of retirement, do not forget to encash your leaves on best essays uk. The best policy to follow is The "Earned Leave" would indicate that the leave earned by the employee by his attendance or the number of days he could be considered on duty.
