I need a help
I am from Kolkata westbengal
A person from kerala make cybercrime complain.
I am the end layer of some portion of that money. My bank account got freeze. He made a case and court send me a notice.
I am not directly or indirectly involved in this crime.
What should i do?
I have no idea about that place of kerala.
Should i have to appear to kerala court
Or on behalf my lawyer can be attend?

You can approach any lawyer at Kerala from the place of the court from where you received the notice and file a vakalatnama, get the copy of the charge sheet and then decide about the further action on the advise of the said lawyer i.e., whether to participate in this case or to file a quash petition before high court for the reasons you may rely upon.

But sir my location is 2500km away from the court.
I dont know any lawyer of that place.
Can i file petition in my state highcourt?

There is neither any short-cut nor alternate texcept o approach concerned court through a local lawyer.

You may reside anywhere but since you have received the summons you are bound to appear before the court either in person or through a lawyer.
We don't have answer for your question that you are 2500 kms away and how can you appear before court at Kerala from WB.
