Registration of Land

Can a patta Land and Khas property be recordable and Registered?

1. ANY agricultural land which is NOT a reserved category land can be registered & transferred.  Hence check the status of land with the local Tahsil office.

A patta land of the nonreserve category can be registered.

I agree with expert advise of Mr. Hemant Agarwal and Mr. Kavksatyanarayana.

Besides this, local laws apply to such a land, therefore it is advisable to contact and consult a local prudent lawyer for better appreciation of facts/ documents, professional guidance qua status of subject land and necessary proceeding.

What are the facts? What is the context? Land records and registration in terms of Registration Act are relevant in two different  contexts. The former is in relation to levy of land/property tax while the latter is in reference to specified transactions.
