Defamation based on crpc161 statement

Dear Experts,

could you pls advise if can file the defmation case on people who gave the statments  in crpc 161  for 498A case.these people doesn' have any singe material evdence for the allegation which they have mentioned in crpc 161.

498A registered on 30-apr-2012 but it's yet to come for trial.is it advisbale to send the defmation notices to these people?

After 498a aquital order only it to be filed.

You can file it only after your acquital order.

How old are you? You may not need to file the defamation case as acquittal will be far far away.

161 statements has no evidentiary value apart from that it can be used to contradict the witness.

 

Further defamation means there is a legal loss to you for whose redressal you want. What loss has happened to you on the basis of CrPC 161 statements?

Defamation both civil and criminal can be filed. You do not have to wait for acquittal.

I would rather not suggest to increase the litigation unnecessarily.
