I’m Elizabeth – I’m working as a summer intern here with be fore venturing off to my freshman year at Stanford. I’ve written a few blog posts before, but this is my first post in  US so I’m really excited about this one! And the timing couldn’t be better! I’m getting ready for my first college course in the Fall, and well…I could use some practice!More details here flower plant identificationAnd like most teenagers, I’m pretty much chained to my cell phone---so spending the Summer at  is pretty much a perfect fit for me! For example, just the other day, I got to take the new  Slide for a spin---and I loved it! It also understands Spanish, which makes me love it even more!
And my favorite feature is of course the Genius Button! It seems like I’m always doing five things at once and I’m rarely sitting at my computer when I realize I need to do something immediately! So with the  Slide, all I have to do is say the words “Genius Button” to wake the device up---and then I’m free to access my music library, search the Web, send emails, text messages, and well…anything else I want! And what I love is that I can do all of this without typing anything---I just speak, and the Genius Button makes it happen!
Just the other day I took a little detour to the mall to pick up a new quilt for college. So…there I am quilt shopping for the first time in my life (don’t judge me), and I’m carrying three different choices around with me while I try to make a decision! And the whole time I’m wondering which quilt is best for the California climate when I remembered that my friend Laura just finished up her freshman year at Stanford. So I decide to call her up for some quick advice---and with the Genius Button at my fingertips, I didn’t even have to put my quilts down and risk losing them to some quilt-crazy shoppers! I just told my device what to do---and the Genius Button took care of the rest!
So what was Laura’s advice? She told me to get the lightest one, because “winter” in California is not the same as the winters we have here in Boston! And so now I have the perfect quilt for the West Coast! Now, thanks to the with genius Button, I have the perfect quilt! I’ve got the perfect language practice buddy as well!
