Violation of the aforesaid directions can lead the employers to be penalised.

No salaries to be deducted for one month

The ministry has also issued certain directives to the employers to NOT deduct the wages and salaries of the poor workers and the labourers for a month amid the outbreak of the Novel Corona virus. The same has been done to ensure the well-being of the workers and the labourers during the 21 day country wide lockdown. There shall be strict penalties for the employers who deduct the salaries.
