Is Taking A Voice Sample From Accused W/O Consent Unconstitutional?

The case was of Ritesh v. State of Uttar Pradesh. The decision was given by Justice Pushpendra Singh Bhati. The Rajasthan High Court dismissed the plea of the accused in which he contended that his voice sample cannot be taken against his wishes, as it would amount to self-incrimination under Article 20 of the Constitution of India.

The case was of Jaganarayan Lal v. Doctor Girija Tiwari. The decision was given by Justices Hemant Gupta and V. Ramasubramanian. The appeal was dismissed and the court noted that the issue of maintainability of the complaint goes to the root of the case and that the concept of Joint Hindu Family does not extend to the treatment of a pregnant sister-in-law.

Daughters Are Daughters Forever, Sons Are Sons Till They Are Married': Bombay HC

The case was of Ashish Vinod Dalal & Ors v. Vinod Ramanlal Dalal & Ors.It was noted by the Court that the son appeared to be blinded in discharging his obligations to cater to his old and needy parents and on the contrary, dragged them into litigation. The Court reiterated that daughters stand by their parents forever but sons stick around only till they get married.

Plaint Can't Be Rejected If Limitation Is A Mixed Question Of Law & Fact : Supreme Court

The case was of Salim D.Agboatwala and Others v. Shamalji Oddavji Thakkar and Others. The decision was given by Justices Hemant Gupta and V Ramasubramaniam. It was decided by the Court that a plaint cannot be rejected under Order VII Rule 11(d) of the Code of Civil Procedure if the issue of limitation is a mixed question of law and fact.
