  • Court strongly condemned the action, and demanded ‘Minimum Dignified Decorum” to be maintained
  • Gujarat High Court has now issued mandatory guidelines for all further hearings
  • No-more video proceedings allowed in the car, can be done from only Residence or Office
  • Lawyers also to maintain appropriate attire & sitting posture during the proceedings.

  • A breach of Decorum have been observed From Advocates since June this year
  • Many found attending court hearings during garden strolls or meals
  • The Calcutta High Court took Suo Motto Contempt action against an advocate for posting LinkedIn Screenshot of virtual court hearing
  • However the contempt proceedings were later dropped with a warning to the Lawyer
