Delh HC warns Leyland and Tata to supply buses in time

NEW DELHI:

Delhi High Court on Wednesday warned bus providers Leyland and Tata, that court will cancel the tender, if they don’t stick to the schedule of bus delivery. Court gives time till March to meet the dead line of bus supply. These companies have already flouted the deadline which ending in Jan.

In the same hearing HC demanded Delhi Government, the details regarding norms followed by blue line bus drivers. HC asked to furnish details of how many KM, one driver drive bus in a day and what norms are adopted by bus driver for one trip, or there is no norm. Court was particular to know When Delhi citizen will get the replacements.
