we r from Hubli karnataka we had purchased a non registered plot on the basis of 20rupees bond with owner signature in the year 2000,now that owner is saying that he has sold the same plot to some other party

There is "no" sale/ purchase transaction on unregistered stamp paper worth Rs. 20/- . i.e., the transaction, if made is invalid, illegal and inapplicable.

who is possession on that plot. ? Registration of the documents of sale and purchase of immovable property is mandatory and ensures conservation of evidence, prevention of fraud and assurance of title
