First of all unregistered trade union shall be registered otherwise it cannot enjoyed the rights provided by the Acts or Law. Secondly Unregistered Trade union Does not fall under R.T.I. as it comes under the purview of "private organization"

Even a registered trade union is not a public authority and doesnt come within the purview of RTI.

Can you back your claim with some citations. Since only Government funded NGOs or Trusts are under the RTI wil the same apply to Unions. If yes, how.

When we say whether trade union falls under RTI or not- has to be answered as if whether, per se, a trade union is covered under RTI or not. The answer is simple NO.
Yes a public funded trade union or even a private trade union which has taken the character of a public authority, will off course falls under RTI.
