Unregistered POA to buy a property

Hi,

Im interested in buing a property. In 1997, the property was sold by UDS to 4 persons. Among that 4 1 person bought it thru POA which was not registered. Again this person sold to another person thru a registerd POA . If I buy this property, will i face any problem? In the bank they are asking for the registeration number POA which was not registered :(

Thanks in advance.

If the POA is before 1998 unregistered will do. otherwise registraton is mandetory.

If the Power of Attorney isonly to acquire property, in A.P. it is not required to be registered. But if the poer is to sell, mortgage or otherwise deal with the property it requires registration.
