Threatening by unregistered private security agency

Sir, Ours is a mutli-storied building. The previous Secretary of the Flat Owners Association appointed, for personal gains, employed security guards from a private security agency that is not registered. With a change in the Association now, we want to terminate the security services. On informing the person-in-charge of the Security Service about our intention of termination, he threatened us, and has now falsely charged a lady flat owner, also an Association member with 1. Harassment and use of abusive language at his guards. 2. Threatened to go on hunger strike, holding the lady liable for any untoward incident. He sent a letter to the Association with the charges, and has mentioned having filed copies to Labour Commission, Human Rights Commission and Local Police Station. What is the best step for us to take now, as an Association? Thank you for any help.

There is nothing that the security services can claim anything by indulging in such illegal acts, their case can be challenged properly by engaging the services of expertise advocate provided the lady issue is really genuine from your side.

Sir, Thank you very much for your advice. Yes, the lady is right, and other Association members also know that the charges are baseless. We will serve him a legal notice. Thank you.
