settlement in DV CASE related

I both the party are ready for settlement by giving some xyz amount in three months period and when the final date came the party make some excuse for money by saying that they are going to give this money by selling some properties and the property is not being sell.what kind of objects other' party can do?can the judge give any kind of order to that party.
