registering with bar council

if someone is already registered and wants to work as a legal advisor privately does he have to give cancel his registration.

My problem is that i am not going to practise law but my father is insisting me to do so even though i will only be an acting legal advisor because we already have a legal advisor.

Is it the case that a registered lawyer cannot work as a legal advisor in a private company ??

kindly guide.

thankyou.

A person enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council is not supposed to accept government or private service.    However, if you want to serve and practise simultneously, you can do so by not making any official record that you are serving.

YOU CAN GET A PERMISSION FROM BCI, IF UR JOB IS NOT EFFECTING THE SERVICE AND ETHICS AND TO THE ADVOCATE ACT 1961 .OR ELSE TEMP SUSPENTION OF ENROLMENT AND PROCEED FOR THE FULL TIME

YOU FIRST SEEK PERMISSION OF BAR COUNCIL, I THINK BAR COUNICIL WILL  ALLOW YOU.
