Thankyou for the reply. However Advocates do work with several companies as legal advisors and consultants and also practise at bar. So why one needs to surrender his license for private employment.

There are limitatuions imposed under Advocates Act, l961 that Advocate can accept job he has to work as professional and with fees only. He can work part time and can work as Legal Adviser & Advocate. Look at bare act section you will be able to find out Advocates Act, 1961.

He can work part time and can work as Legal Adviser & Advocate. Look at bare act section you will be able to find out Advocates Act, 1961.If one (Advocate) wants to pick up service he has to surrender his licence (i.e. sanad).
