i am a resident of varanasi resideing in a rented property for the past 2 yrs., but did'nt get a rental agreement.
i haven't got a own house and have always been living on rent.
in order to get my passport registered rent agreement is the bast option for Address proof for me at the moment. as i have just turned 18 i have not got most of my stuff accept pan card. so can you please suggest me how to get a rent agreement for the past two years please???

You can approach the land or flat owner to execute Confirmation letter in favor of you which had been residing as tenant past two years.
But, If the owner permit to allow, you can also enter new agreement with respect to the same by mentioning the old date ( 2 years back), but then what about the status of stamp duty? You will pay the stamp duty today's date. So, you cannot fulfill the stamp duty now with respect old date draft.
Contact local advocate, they will suggest one more option for you
