Registeration carried using expired power of attorney

Agreement to sale for purchase of Flat was registered through the POA holder of the builder and  after registration when the papers were received after scanning from the Sub Registrars office in Navi Mumbai after two days it was observed that the POA is expired.

Kindly advise on the corrective action that can solve this problem. Since as such this agreement is null and void as such?

Sir,

Thank You very much for your reply. Since the POA is expired which renders the Agreement null and Void, but can it be validated by making a Rectification deed or an Ratification Deed or both?

Your advise in the matter will go long way in decision making.

Regards
