The employee can seek revocation of suspension period. 

Undue delay in issue of Charge Sheet or completion of Inquiry ipso facto is ground for revocal of disciplinary action initiated

Normally the Disciplinary Rules provide for appeal against suspension to the Appellate Authority within certain stipulated period from the date of suspension.    This remedy should be invoked first.    Further undue delay in issuing charge sheet  without assigning reasons is a ground for seeking revokation of suspension and disciplinary proceedings. .
