Shares held by Trustee - Notice u/s 187C of Companies Act

Hi Friends

Please inform whether notice u/s 187C of the Companies Act is required to be given by Trust and Trustee when the shares are held by Trustee on behalf of trust.

u/s 187(C)(8) -

Notice u/s 187C of the Companies Act is not required to be given by Trust and Trustee.

Please note that 187C doesn’t apply only to trust mentioned under Section 187B.

U r absolutely right..

But the quesion is whether the notice u/s 187C is required to be sent in case of trust also..

Ans. not required.

153B is now not applicable

Hi dear 153B is applicable as it requires trustee to make declaration to public trustee and a copy of the same to the Company also hence declaration u/s 187C is not required.
