Rti act

Dear all,

I had recent moved an RTI, after 30 days. I got a reply that the information that i had asked is not available with them and therefore is transferred to another department. I was also given the option to file appeal with 30 days.

Now, what should i do. Should i wait for the next reply from the deptt. where it is transferred or should i file appeal.

Please reply.

Transfer   to   other   Department    under   the   RTI ACT,2005    is   5 ( Five ) days   u/s 6 ( 3 )   of   the   ACT. But In   u'r    case   it   is   more   than   30 days,   So    File   a   Complaint   Petition   before   the   State   Information   Commission   u/s 18   of   the   RTI  ACT,2005.
