POA from a citizen of USA

Dear experts,

I've a query on POA from one of the legal heirs who is now citizen of USA to another legal heir at India.

what are the documents to be submitted to sub reg office for this POA from a citizen of USA(previously he was an Indian National) to his younger brother in India for all the rights to sell the properties that they inherit from their deceased parents?

thanks a lot in advance.

Get yourself a PIO (Person Of Indian Origin) card from Govt of India to transact any immovable property.

POA can be written and attested even at USA before designated Indian Embassy Oficials.

If you are available/present  at India you can execute before Sub Registrar ( where propety is situated), for which

Documents needed: Legal heirship Certificate,PIO card(for your name and address proof),Photo- for you
