I have sent rti to nagar palika now it is more than one months when i called to pio he told me that he has reply me by genaral post. But i have not received any reply from him. I know the pio is lieing but what shall i do. I know i can do first appeal.
But i want to ask that is there any rule for pio to sent reply by registered ad or speed post ?
I know that pio intentionally not providing the information as the politician has done corruption and if pio reply than corruption will be exposed.

Dear Ronnie, If PIO claims that he has sent it by general post, kindly note that every govt. office gives reference no. to their letters and they also maintain an outward registry of all the communications sent. U can ask him to show that proof...
In any case, you can also demand for inspection of the documents under the RTI, where you can go to their office and inspect the documents for yourself... There you have less chance of getting fooled..!!
