Paying guest

Please explain why and under which section the Paying guests cannot be allowed in Coop. Housing Society.

there is no such rule but you can check if there is any restriction as per the bye laws of the coop society. In case there is nothing mentioned in the bye laws thaen there is no restriction on keeping a paying guest.

Even if it is there in the rules of of co-op. soc, is that not against the law, as per the constitution a person is allowed to exploit his property as he deems fit and at the most the soc. can levy some kind of extra tax/charges etc and i feel that also can be challanged if it is exboriant. Of-cource the soc. can probhit commercial use of residential soc. but keeping paying guest is not commercial but using it for residential purpose as they cannot stop a member from renting his property.
