Medical record show offence?

Does information in medical records of a clinic relating to abortion constitutes the offence of miscarriage under ipc?

Dear Author,

Bald certificate would only show that abortion took place. But every abortion is not illegal udner the prevalent law. You would require to prove that this abortion was done against the wishes of the expecting mother or against the prejudice to the rights of the going to be born child.

**Unborn child but in the womb has legal rights for many prevalent laws.

Depends on the necessity of abotion, if the abortion was required to remove any medical complication or to save the life of mother, it is not illegal.

The clinic might have obtained the consent of the mother, on prescribed forms, before conducting the abortion.

Adv Arvind is right.

The discharge summary/detailed report issued to the mother must be having the completer descripttion of the history, procedure conducted, and medical advice and follow up shedule.

If the documentation is proper NO OFFENCE is made out.
