MADURAI LAWYER (LEGAL CONSULTANT)     03 November 2011

Judge alleges “caste discrimination”

Ref:The Hindu/NEW DELHI, November 3, 2011, News Item:

Judge alleges “caste discrimination”

My Question to Justice C.S. Karnan

Whether the complaint of Justice C.S.Karnan of "caste discrimination" by his brother judges is true or false one is a debatable question. However, whatever it might be, would definitely disqualify one or the other Person from holding the constitutional office such as the office of the High Court Judge. Therefore, He should reveal the identity of the so called wrong-doing Judges to the public immediately so that the citizens of India may be vigilant of getting their matters relating to caste claim or similar matters posted before the Bench of other Judges of the same High Court to secure  unbiased orders. Otherwise, Lawyers and litigants who have already lost their faith and confidence to some extent in the Indian Judiciary which is working under a diluted justice delivery system, would have least regards therefor, thanks to the dirty politics within the Judiciary.

Will Justice C.S.Karnan disclose the names of the so called wrong-doing judges of the Madras High Court ?. (OR)
Will the Chief Justice direct him to do the same in the interests of Justice?

Sir,

Whether to disclose or not to disclose the name of the errring justice is the complainants will . No one one has the right to compel it. I strictly condemn your comments on the judiciary and its internal machinary. Peoples faith is always on the judiciary ,if not there will not be any case filed before the courts. The declared pendency does not stay as it is.
