How to get another copy of certified FIR

Hi All,

I have one certified copy of FIR, If I want another certified copy of FIR, do I need to go court again ?

or Is it ok, if I take XEROX of certified FIR and signed it by local SI/CI/DSP ?

you can get any number of certified copies, but you have to apply for it. thats all.

a certifeid copy and a xerox copy attested by SI/CI , are not on the same footing, as far as evidentary value is required.

a certifeied copy is admissible, as if it is an orignal.
