Creche Laws

My son, 15 mths old, got head injuries in his day care and got operated upon. The day care incharges says if any accident happens within the day care premises, they are not responsible.

Can I legally ask for a compensation against the accident from daycare? Please advise.

Thanks,

Madhavi

If the day carer are not responsible for any accident occurred within their premises with a child of only 15 months then who is responsible for that? Only and only they are responsible and you can charge compensation from them by filing a petition befre competent court.

Humbug. We pay creche to take care of our toddlers in our absence during the daytime. The funny disclaimers like 'We are  not responsible ...' and pertinent yada yada just indicate they are shrieking their moral obligations and responsibilities.
