Joint registered

Hi

A and B having 1 Acre land got joint registered from his Father .A was sold 10 cents of land to X  with out intimating B or B family .

A and A Family is saying my Quota of land we sold (1/2 Acre) is this valid that regestration

my question is in the joint registered land only one person sold land is valid or not
