Hi,
My father left behind a will that is basically a typed document, signed and dated by him on each page. It is not registered and there are no witness signatures. Is such will valid in karnataka?
Thanks

Registration of will is not compulsory but two witnesses signature are essential to validiate will in who's presence testator has signed .

so, assuming that his immovable property is now intestate, what are the next steps? How is the house deed to be changed to the names of all the heirs (mother and children)? I remember I needed my fathers signature for property tax payment. How is this to be done now?
Really Appreciate your assistance.
