Saving mother from loosing kids

Respected Lawyers,

My friend , she is into divorce case with her husband. The marraige is 10 years old. Child is 8 year old. Her husband has filled divorce case under adultary catagory. She used to work and used to hang out with friends. He has made taken videos and photos of her with her friend and put in base for divorce. The man also involved on outside marraige relation but she has not filed any case with that base. Now he is threatening her saying , he will show those videos & pictures to child and get the child away from her. She wants the custody of child. He is trying to give her divorce and take away the child.

She is scared that, even if she agrees for divorce without any condition , still they will show all to child and distrub her life.

She needs help in this case for following

1. How can she get those videos so that her relation with child is not diluted?

2. How can she protect herself from loosing her reputation in society?

Please guide in above matter.

Its should not be about the custody of the child... It should be about the welfare of the child and should go the parent who can give him a smoother and happy life. Just loving the child isn't enough these days as both parents would equally do so. AND if the female is in a relation with someone, they can move soon and leave the child with the father. she can always meet the child as settled between the parties.

YES, the father has all rights to meet the child later on and there are 100% chances that he would keep influencing the child with expensive gifts etc etc etc..which would surely make the child drift away towards the father. Hence, If the father is well off and is willing to keep the child.. he should get the custody as the child's future will be more secure with him. If it would have been a girl.. i would have definitely advised her to be with the mother.

@Amit - The custody of the child will still be with the mother till the sibling attains a certain age no matter she hangs out with friends or does other crap. It can be a basis of divorce but not for child custody.Now ,the one who has the videos and the other who alleges relation outside marriage need to decide if they want to mete out the same future to their children.

1. How can she get those videos so that her relation with child is not diluted? cannot see a possible way

2. How can she protect herself from loosing her reputation in society? Stop hanging out with friends, keeping her children in mind.
