Hi.E.P.F act will be applicable to my client.So he deduct 12% from employee salary and he too contribute same and furthur automatically E.D.L.I will also be applicable.Pls consider following example.Total salary paid to employees is 200000 and He deduct 12% on it i.e 24000 and administration charges for him to bear is 2200(200000*1.10%) and his contribution to E.D.L.I is 1000(200000*0.5%)and administration charges to be bear by him are 20(200000*0.01%),so what client does,he debited rs3220(2200+1000+20) to p&l A/c under the head administration charges.so he include his contribution to E.D.L.I in administration charges.so is the treatment is correct?Plead an early reply.Thanks in advance
