NRI account freeze on matrimonial dispute case

If  you remember you have to put Social security number along with your NRI account. Police in India cannot do anything to your account not even court even if you are in India. It is your wife's problem to find out your income and try to get interim maintenance.

If  you remember you have to put Social security number along with your NRI account so if someone knows your social security number then it is possible but still I do not think anyone has an authority to touch it. Also US embassy in India can help you. Contact their support e-mail and file fraud case against your wife with them by sending e-mail to their fraud department. Act before enemy attacks. Police in India cannot do anything to your account not even court even if you are in India. It is your wife's problem to find out your income and try to get interim maintenance.

Let the wife file any number of false cases against you but just because she has lodged/filed false cases, police or court cannot freeze your NRI account or any other financial aspects of yours.  They have no right to do so.  Moreover, this is not crime involving embezzlement/misappropriation of public funds so that the CBI will request the court to freeze your ank accounts to recover the stolen or misappropriated amount.

As you all know that now a days in matrimonial issues the first case filed is 498a and especially when the husband is an NRI.In this situation if the NRI does not come to India to fight the case then being a criminal offence LOC can be issued against the husband.In such a situation is it not possible for the Indian government to freeze the NRI account of the husband.

I think without knowing about the Social security number or account number by a false case the wife can easily get the account of husband freezed also all his Indian assets.

You will be declared as a PO if you don't fight against matrimonial case and your NRI account will be freezed.

If you are so worried why dont you close the account or remove ur funds.
