home surveillance

Is it legally right to go for home surveillance (not secret cameras) to prove mental harassment by wife at home.

it is novel idea to prove the cruelties of wife towards her husband, but by law it means invasion of privacy, do you have an answer for this?

Make use of spy camera ie pen camera, such are available on amazon dot com.  They have HD recording and can record up to 3 hours of footage.
